I’ll tell you more behind the song at a later point but “Swept Away” is referring to heaven and death and reunion. I think the artwork conveys this wonderfully.
Faith needs art. We need things to stir us. Does the art we make stir something deep inside? Is it for entertainment only? Do we create authentically?
We still have hierarchies. They just look different. We climb the ladder, striving to reach a place of influence and wealth.We still have crowns. These can be objects, like cars or homes. They can titles, like CEO or Senator or chief of surgery.
I want to strive for excellence in everything I create. Not for my glory but to point people a beautiful story of redemption that is greater than any piece of art could convey.
